Just me giving drabbles a shot, although I'm afraid I've just failed at a cosmic level. This was written roughly within an hour - since cramming strong feelings and ideas into a hundred words isn't as easy as it looks. So here it is: my spontaneous creation and the first thing I've written in four months of extreme writer's block. Enjoy. :)

"F O R T R E S S"

Black orbs that stared out into the wide abyss.

They were searching for something…something words couldn’t explain and something actions couldn’t bring justice to.

Hidden beneath those dark planets were flameless hearths and secrets buried deeper than graves. Unbreakable and unbreachable, her fortress was unscathed.

They thought she was strong. . .

They weren’t squinting hard enough.

Salty waters glazed over these small worlds…trying desperately to cleanse away the damage. They couldn’t. From once small scratches rose tearing cracks and fissures, subtle records of all her unmendable wounds.

Madly, swiftly, her walls crumbled. . .

They were wrong. She wasn’t strong, only...

Weak.

I can't believe I'm still up at 1 o' clock! :O
(This will really cost me later this morning...)

Stayed up until this hour of the day because of that damned awesome Soul Eater manga! One more chapter to go and I'm proud to say that I've finally caught up on all of the recent chapters - which means I can finally slash that off my awesome-list-of-things-to-do-list! With all the reading for the night done and over with, I feel awfully tired right now, so I bet I should get some sleep.

And guess who's AWESOME again. . . .

Yup - it's Kid! \:D/

Day one of my Christmas Vacation:

Awesomely Worry-Free.

I can't remember the last time I woke up without any mental to-do-lists screaming inside my head or any of those, "OMGZZ - I forgot to do my *insert subject here* assignment that's due today! ASDKJAKDLSHFKSHDKSH!" moments. Today I'm just completely chill...and being chill feels really nice.

On the other hand, I can't just waste away my nineteen days of school-free bliss on staring blankly at the computer screen and screaming at the heavens whenever the internet connection suddenly screws up. So today I've decided to make a 'TOTALLY AWESOME NINETEEN-DAY CHRISTMAS VACATION PLAN!' to keep track of the things I want to do during the break. Here's the list of things I really want to do:
  • Get a chapter of INO v2 written down and posted on Mibba. This has been on the list of things I've wanted to do since my semestral break last October. I never got around doing it, partly because I haven't felt the slightest tinge of inspiration to get started on it, and mostly because I'm such a lazy bum. Sigh.
  • Buy myself one of those Contact-Lens-cleaning solutions. If my contacts were living breathing creatures, they'd slaughter me by now. I really need to get them cleaned, or else all that money I spent to get them would just go down the drain.
  • Catch up on the happenings of the latest Soul Eater manga update. I just wish Kid goes back to his old smoking-hot self. I really don't like the evil version of Kid - he gives me the damn creeps.
  • Watch other episodes of The Walking Dead. I just hope Megavideo cooperates with me this time and doesn't give me one of those annoying, "You can watch more videos again after 8483658612862846 minutes".
  • Catch up on the latest Glee episodes. Because I'm really missing Kurt.
  • Watch Perfect Match. 'Cause yeah...
  • Get planning on the first few chapters of Echo, Eko! Now I've got time to read up on some Greek Myths that might fit in to the story, though I'm not promising that I'll be writing up a chapter. Not yet.
  • Complete my sparring armor for Taekwondo. Because I can't go back without it.
  • Get some well-deserved rest and relaxation. Need I say more?
I know the list really isn't that awesome...but who cares? At least I'll be flippin' awesome if I get at least half of the list done - and coming from a big sloth like me, that would be one heck of an accomplishment!

Dancing Artie FTW!
^ Saw this on a friend's Tumblr and just had to post it! =)))))))))))))))))))

And before you even ask me: No, I do not have a Tumblr account.
(As you may already know - I'm just too much of a lazy bum to make one.)
